If you had asked me what I thought about animal print a few months ago I would have said, ugh, gross! I HATE animal print, it's SO tacky. Say leopard print and I immediately thought of some tawdry over-processed blonde with a cigarette in hand, sausaged into a skintight animal print jumpsuit. Lovely visual, right? I still don't like ALOT of animal print, but I've been seeing more and more people wearing a just a pop of leopard...a belt, shoes...and I was intrigued. When I saw these flats at Target, I decided to take the leap and get on the animal print bandwagon...who knew it would feel so good? I have to confess, the most worn piece of my closet is probably my leopard print shoes. They just seem to go with everything and make even a boring black dress or pants more interesting! I think I'm in love...maybe I'll branch out a try a leopard skinny belt next, I'm such a rebel! lol
I thought that just the black and yellow today looked to much like a bumble bee, so I threw on the red sweater to mix it up. I'm feeling like it's one of my more bold color combinations...then I had a co-worker tell me that this outfit made her think of superhero colors...I do love some Wonderwoman, so today, I suppose I'm Wonder Erin! My superpower? Can make any clothes I wear fashionable, but only if it's polka dotted!
Lovin' leopard: In just in the past two weeks, I've worn my leopard flats four times (including today!)
